  • When/Where?
    The 2025 SEAK Farmers Summit will be held February 20-22th, 2025 at the Chapel by the Lake (11024 Auke Lake Way) in Juneau, AK.
  • Admission Fees?
    There are two ticket options: 1) "All inclusive" which includes conference admission and all meals (breakfast/lunch/dinner Thursday-Saturday). Earlybird special $200 when you use coupon code FARMSEAK25 to save $50 when registering before January 1, 2025. Standard price $250 if purchased after 1/1/25. 2) "Locals Only" which includes conference admission but NO meals. Earlybird special when you use coupon code FARMSEAK25 to save $50 when registering before January 1, 2025. Standard price $130 if purchased after 1/1/25. Some selected presentations will be available via Zoom throughout the weekend, registration will be FREE for all Zoom presentations.   • Accommodations?
    LODGING OPTIONS: Chapel by the Lake -- There are a limited number of spaces for attendees to camp (on the floor, not outside) at the venue using your own gear for $25/night. This option does not include a bed or any bedding, so attendees will need to bring their own sleeping set up (such as sleeping pad, sleeping bag, and pillow) if choosing this option. There are shared bathrooms and showers available at the venue. You must reserve a spot to sleep at Chapel by the Lake on the registration form and specify which nights you are reserving for your choice of 2, 3, 4, or 5 nights. Dorm rooms at UAS -- We have reserved single and shared rooms in the UAS dorms for attendees. All UAS lodging includes linens and towels, one main kitchen in the dorm for public use, shared bathroom, free laundry. A shared room at UAS will cost $35/night for your choice of 2, 3, 4 or 5 nights.. A single room at UAS at $70/night for your choice of 2, 3, 4 or 5 nights. AREA HOTELS: Aspen Suites Hotel -- 8400 Airport Blvd, Juneau. Offering a rate of $206 single or double occupancy. OTHER OPTIONS: There are also many accommodations available in Juneau, as well as AirBnb listings. We suggest choosing one that is located near the airport or in Auke Bay.
  • Cancellation Policy?
    All cancellations must be requested in writing by sending an email to seakfarmerssummit@gmail.com. We will confirm your cancellation by email. Please see below for important registration dates, including dates for specific cancellation fees/refunds. $50 OFF DISCOUNT if registered before January 1, 2025.   • What should I bring?
    We request that all participants bring a reusable water bottle and reusable hot drink mug to use throughout the weekend. We will not have disposable cups available so if you want to enjoy coffee, tea and water throughout the weekend you must bring your own cup/mug/bottle! Thank you for helping us to reduce waste at our event. It is also advisable to bring a raincoat or umbrella because it is a short walk from the conference venue to the place where meals will be held. We will also have a "take one -- leave one" book table so consider bringing along any agriculture related books or magazines you'd like to pass along to a fellow farmer!
  • Are Travel and Registration scholarships available?
    We will be offering a limited number of travel scholarships for participants who will not be able to attend the SEAK Farmers Summit without financial assistance. These will be reimbursement scholarships, so you will need to submit receipts of your plane or ferry ticket purchases. If you are unable to purchase tickets in advance of receiving scholarship funds, please contact us directly at seakfarmerssummit@gmail.com and we will work with you to make arrangements. Funds are limited, so please only apply for a scholarship if the costs involved will keep you from attending the conference. We will do our best to support everyone who wants to attend! You will need to submit all Google Forms and email the signed Memorandum of Agreement to seakfarmersummit@gmail.com to by January 14th to be considered for a scholarship award. You may fill out the Memorandum of Agreement electronically or by printing it out, signing it, and sending a scan or photo to the above email address.
